In case the radio device malfunctions or is lost, or if the seller or manufacturer of the radio device ceases to sell or manufacture such radio device, the notification of the same shall be given to the licensing authority within thirty-five days from the date of occurrence.< br> (2) Upon receipt of the notice as per sub-rule (1), the licensing authority shall, if deemed necessary, deduct the cost of the license of such radio equipment after conducting an investigation.
